There is a mouse in my house By Walt Haley of Waltsense There is a mouse in the house It's been going on for 5 years I've checked every nook and cranny of the old place I filled many holes, drank many beers I am 100% sure, there are no ways in As attached to my place are homes to the left and right They are surely rundown, which is truly a sin They only live in one spot and they leave us alone but they lurk under the kitchen waiting for me to throw them a bone This little crawl space they live in is dark and old 108 years to be exact So the mouse grow big and bold There is only one way in this space, but I can barely fit the entrance is high off the ground and very dark Only it would be easy to squeeze in if I was a midget So I catch them every week with the greatest of ease they love peanut butter so much scooping them up with the traps is a breeze Life goes on and It keeps me on my toes I must be keen not to leave around any crumbs, especially any diary as there is a mouse in the house He is Tom and I am an Jerry.
